Serijos „Europa“ išleidimas

Serijos „Europa“ banknotai apyvartoje pasirodys nuosekliai, per kelerius metus, didėjančia tvarka pagal nominalą. Pirmieji naujosios serijos banknotai ─ 5 ir 10 eurų ─ apyvartoje pasirodė atitinkamai 2013 ir 2014 m. Naujasis 20 eurų banknotas buvo pristatytas 2015 m. vasario 24 d., o apyvartoje pasirodys 2015 m. lapkričio 25 d.

Atnaujintas dizainas, sustiprinta apsauga

Naujieji banknotai yra raidos dalis. Jų dizainas yra pagrįstas pirmosios serijos tema „amžiai ir stiliai“, kuris buvo tik šiek tiek pakeistas jį pritaikant patobulintiems apsaugos požymiams. Tai taip pat padės lengviau atskirti naujosios serijos banknotus nuo pirmosios serijos banknotų. Eurų banknotų dizainui atnaujinti buvo pasirinktas Berlyne dirbantis nepriklausomas banknotų dizaineris Reinhold Gerstetter. Nominalai lieka tie patys: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 ir 500 eurų.

Lengva pastebėti ir geriau apsaugota

Serijos „Europa“ banknotuose apsaugos požymius lengva rasti, be to, jie veiksmingai saugo naujuosius banknotus nuo padirbinėjimo.


Nuoseklus išleidimas

Serijos „Europa“ banknotų išleidimas skirsis nuo valiutų keitimo į grynuosius eurus operacijos 2002 m. dėl kelių priežasčių.

Pirma, kiekvienas nominalas bus išleistas atskirai, skirtingu metu, todėl visos serijos išleidimas užtruks kelerius metus, o štai 2002 m. buvo įgyvendintas „didžiojo sprogimo“ tipo grynųjų pinigų keitimas.

Antra, kadangi naujieji banknotai bus leidžiami į apyvartą nuosekliai, be to, kiekviena šalis turi savo grynųjų pinigų ciklą, pirmosios serijos eurų banknotai nebus išleisti į apyvartą visose euro zonos šalyse vienu metu.

Apyvartoje kartu, galiojimas neribotą laiką

Visoms likusioms atsargoms sunaudoti, daugelyje euro zonos šalių dar kelis mėnesius kartu su naujaisiais banknotais į apyvartą bus leidžiami ir pirmosios serijos eurų banknotai. Abiejų serijų banknotai apyvartoje cirkuliuos kartu ir bus teisėta mokėjimo priemonė. Bus labai iš anksto pranešta, kada pirmosios serijos eurų banknotai nustos būti teisėta mokėjimo priemone. Tačiau juos bus galima pasikeisti neribotą laiką bet kuriame Eurosistemos nacionaliniame centriniame banke.

On behalf of the company/institution mentioned above, we declare that we will refrain from using any materials either in printed or electronic form provided by the ECB until our membership of the Partnership Programme has been confirmed.
We will be liable for any damages incurred by the ECB should we not act in accordance with this Letter of Intent.
We also understand that the ECB reserves the right to terminate our membership at any time.
